Columbus Red Birds starter Rusty Collier had all his pitches working at Brewhouse. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 Columbus win over the Newcastle House of Brews. With the loss, Newcastle falls to 10-22.

Also pitching-in was Columbus right fielder Reid McBride, who hammered a solo home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, McBride went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
