The B.C. Brawlers could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Jason Donaldson into a win. Instead, the Letterkenny Shamrocks prevailed, 5-4. Donaldson threw 7.2 innings of 2-hit ball. B.C. is now 12-15.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 12th for Letterkenny. That's when Dick Allen hit a solo home run off 12-year veteran Pete Reynolds to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Allen said.
