Indians Get Thrilling 4-3 Win
Indianapolis starter Ben Carlisle pitched well against the Newcastle House of Brews at Victory Field. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 15 innings. Millard Holder picked up the win in relief. Niko Sarpaneva took the loss for Newcastle. With the win, Indianapolis climbs to 11-7.

The Indians got a clutch hit from second baseman Júlio Valdés. In the bottom of the 15th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Indians.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Carlisle said.
