Phoenix got a terrific game from first baseman Manny Gallegos. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Letterkenny, 6-5. Gallegos went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times. Manny Flores finished the game for Letterkenny and earned his 5th save. With the win, Letterkenny boosts its record to 7-12.

Letterkenny used the timely hitting of Carlos Garza to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Shamrocks on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Garza, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
