Freddy Harris was superb against Columbus. The right-hander, who finished 3rd in the TTWB in saves with 45 in 2063, had a changeup that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Nightmare victory. The score was 4-3. Iván Márquez, now 1-1, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 1 and walking 0. With the loss, Columbus falls to 8-9.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Nashville. That's when Howard Perkins hit a run-scoring double off 28-year old left-handed pitcher Eugenio Solís to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

In postgame remarks, Perkins said: "To all who've been doubting my effort -- I hope they saw this game."
