At Superior Stadium, the Asheville Boomsticks and Dam Site Drifters were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Dam Site Drifters beat the Asheville Boomsticks by a score of 8-4. Dam Site designated hitter Alex Farrell deserved the lion's share of the credit. Farrell was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Drifters. The victory makes Dam Site 8-5, as the team seeks a return to the playoffs in 2069.

Jonathan Patterson contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. His at-bat helped Dam Site get the win.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Farrell told the Dam Site News.
