Stalkers Throttled by Brawlers, 4-1

B.C. and Iowa City duked it out and the Brawlers came out victorious.
Xiao-yong Lum, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2060 draft, never let the Stalkers get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his forkball, to pitch the Brawlers to a win, 4-1. Lum got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 3 hits and walked 3 over 5.2 innings. He allowed no runs. The save went to Pete Reynolds, number 3 for him.
Bobby Williams helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring single to give B.C. a 1-0 lead.
"If you chase it, you need to get it," said B.C. skipper Stephen West.
The victory makes B.C. 4-0.
