The Wildwood Fishers ushered in the 2070 season with a win versus the Grand Rapids Growlers at Carp Coliseum. The final score was 4-2. Starting Pitcher Scott Smith, who finished 5th in the TTWB in ERA with 2.98 in 2060, had a standout performance. Smith picked up the win for Wildwood, going 5.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 5 hits.
