Caribbean Sweeps into the Round 3 Thursday, March 5th , 2116 The Caribbean Fishermen proved to be too much to handle for the San Juan Bees in the Round 2, and a sweep was the end result. Caribbean punched its ticket to the Round 3 on the strength of a 5-4 win in the deciding game, which wrapped up the series 4-0. Caribbean right fielder Ricardo Zamora, named series MVP, was instrumental in the sweep, as he mashed San Juan pitching to the tune of a .455 average, with a .647 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Caribbean Fishermen don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Puerto Plata Alces de Puerto Plata - Barquisimeto Obeliscos series. Barquisimeto leads the series 3 games to 1.
