Nationals Get No Resistance from Firedogs in 19-0 Beat-Down Sunday, September 6th , 2122 Waldemar Boll of the LAnnonciation Nationals shut down the Owen Sound Firedogs, 19-0, on 6 hits, while ringing up 5 strikeouts and allowing 1 walk. After the game Boll said, "Guys have been fouling off a lot of pitches lately and I've been getting into too many deep pitch counts, but I'm pleased with the way things went today. I went right after them and stayed ahead in the count." To date this season, Boll sports a 9-1 mark with a 3.61 ERA in 13 starting assignments.
