Postseason Bid Ends for Garland Sunday, September 7th , 2121 The playoff hopes of the Garland Pulverizers have been extinguished for the year. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2121 postseason. "It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the Round 3 and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Pulverizers starting pitcher Scott Evans. Garland last appeared in the postseason in 2093. This is their 28th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 58 times in their 71-year history. |
