Winchester Hilltops Mathematically Out of Playoffs Monday, August 31st , 2122 Júlio Sandoval said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Winchester Hilltops after they missed the Short Season A playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Hilltops have missed the playoffs 49 times in their 72 years as a Short Season A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2118. In the last 10 seasons, the Hilltops have only made the playoffs once. Winchester has won the Round 3 3 times in their history. |
