Robby Stanley was at the head of a Yuma hit parade at Ballpark of Jersey City. The catcher went to the plate 6 times and came away with 6 hits, sparking the Scorpions to a nice 16-12 victory over the Minneapolis Rails.

"I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Stanley told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today."

Rails skipper said later that the club gave up "too much plate."

"Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that."

Robby Stanley hit an RBI double in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
