Cleveland left fielder Waylon Daniels was instrumental in helping the Rumble Fish triumph, 7-3, over the Vancouver Thunder. Daniels was 2-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Paul Mathews was the winner. He's now 3-3. The loser was former first round draft pick Jonathon McJannett. The 4th-place Rumble Fish have a record of 72-79.

Daniels had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 2-2 changeup from Jonathon McJannett, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Rumble Fish a 6-3 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Daniels.

Daniels said his team "played with focus."
