Injury Sidelines Alex Soria For Year
Monday, July 13th , 2037
Alex Soria will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Cincinnati (DSL) reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Soria was injured while throwing a pitch in the Reds-Twins clash at Baseball City Complex recently. Doctors said he has a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 11 months.
Soria has taken the mound for 6 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 1-0 record with a 0.49 ERA. The Cincinnati (DSL) reliever has limited opposing batters to a .133 batting average.
