Kim Slams 5 Hits for Icheon Wednesday, July 20th , 2039 At Kia Challengers Field, Ha-joon Kim of the Icheon Twins put on a hitting clinic. He banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and mauled the Hampyeong Tigers pitching staff, but Icheon still came up short on the scoreboard. The Twins went home with the 7-6 loss, in spite of a standout 5-hit performance from their shortstop. "Hey, it's great to get that many hits in a game, but it would have been nice to win the game, too," Kim said in the postgame interview. Ha-joon Kim hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. So far this season, Kim is batting .273 with 1 home run. |
