Baltimore (GCL) Advances to Round 2 Sunday, September 6th , 2037 The Baltimore (GCL) Orioles have booked their place in the Round 2. By a score of 6-2, the club ousted the New York N (GCL) Mets in the Round 1 tonight at Ed Smith Stadium. Baltimore (GCL) won the series by a 4-2 margin. The series MVP was Orioles center fielder Joe Papesh. For his part, the MVP said he is not putting too much stock in the individual honor and instead simply "looking forward to the next round." The Baltimore (GCL) Orioles don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Toronto (GCL) Blue Jays - Washington (GCL) Nationals series. Toronto (GCL) leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
