Marin Grabs GCL Reliever of the Year Tuesday, October 7th , 2036 He may only be 22, but Dante Marin of the Tampa Bay (GCL) Rays has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the Gulf Coast Rookie League. The reliever was today named the GCL Reliever of the Year winner for 2036. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 5 saves in 12 relief appearances and 25 strikeouts in 30.1 innings. He had a record of 1-1 to go with his 1.48 ERA. He received 15 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Vinny Ochoa of the Houston (GCL) Astros finished second in voting, while Kane Feist of the Philadelphia W (GCL) Phillies West finished third.
