Hit Parade: Weinstein Pops 5 Hits Monday, May 18th , 2037 It was a parade of hits for Mike Weinstein of the Columbia Fireflies at Segra Park. Connecting with regularity, Weinstein finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but the Wood Ducks rose to the occasion and rained on his parade by winning the game, 6-5. "Weinstein was really good, we were just a little better," said Wood Ducks manager in the postgame interview. "It's all right with me if he gets 5 hits every game against us, as long as we win." Mike Weinstein singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
