The Math Says - Augusta Out of Playoffs Sunday, September 13th , 2037 Augusta GreenJackets starting pitcher Steve Kurrus said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2037 postseason contention. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2035. In total, the GreenJackets have missed the playoffs 16 times in their 17-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the GreenJackets have only made the playoffs once. |
