Inland Empire's Beresford to Miss Season Sunday, August 23rd , 2037 A blow for Chanden Beresford today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 6 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Beresford suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Inland Empire 66ers are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Beresford's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This season, Beresford has been credited with no saves. In 36 relief appearances and 62 innings he has a 3-1 won-lost mark, 1.74 ERA and 50 strikeouts |
