A+ E Star of the Week Picked Monday, May 14th , 2040 It was an extraordinary week for Chad Nutt of the Hickory Crawdads. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .500, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the High-A East. Last week Nutt went 10-for-20, racked up 2 home runs and 4 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Hickory shortstop. This season, Nutt has hit at a .291 clip with 13 RBIs, 3 home runs and 22 runs scored. He has played in 31 games. |
