Clark Holds Wind Surge Scoreless Monday, August 31st , 2037 It wasn't easy but Jonathan Clark made it look that way. Clark silenced the Wichita Wind Surge, 9-0, in a Midland RockHounds triumph at Riverfront Stadium. Despite the appearance of dominance, Clark said that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 2 walks and 5 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." This season, Clark has worked 162.1 innings with 116 strikeouts en route to a 11-6 record and a 4.10 ERA. |
