RockHounds End Maxwell Streak Sunday, August 9th , 2037 Lady Luck was not on the side of Eric Maxwell or his teammates at Momentum Bank Ballpark. Everything went the way of the Midland RockHounds, who not only came away with the 5-3 victory over San Antonio, but also held Maxwell hitless in 4 at-bats to put an end to his 21-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Maxwell said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." Currently Maxwell is batting .362 with 14 home runs and 71 RBIs. |
