Hit Streak for Cravens Reaches 20 Thursday, July 2nd , 2037 The hitting streak for Springfield left fielder Tim Cravens now stands at 20 games, but the Cardinals dropped today's contest 6-5 to the Amarillo Sod Poodles. Cravens went 2-for-4 in the game. "Things went well for me personally," he said. "I got 2 hits and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Tim Cravens flied out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, walked in the 8th and doubled in the 9th. So far this season, Cravens is hitting .346 with no home runs, 20 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has 44 hits in 127 at-bats and a .371 OBP. |
