Knight Selected Player of the Week Monday, September 15th , 2036 Ben Knight must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .565 clip, then the Frisco right fielder finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the AA C Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Knight batted .565 (13-for-23) with 1 home run and 3 RBIs. This season, Knight has delivered 152 hits in 487 at-bats for a .312 average with 25 home runs. He is getting on base at a .383 clip and his totals also include 100 RBIs and 83 runs scored. This year Knight has played in 125 games. |
