Bryd Wins AA NE Top Pitcher Award Wednesday, July 1st , 2037 When Jayden Bryd takes the hill, there's a good chance for a Richmond victory. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 4-0 mark and a 1.56 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 40.1 innings, fanned 29, and held enemy hitters to a .144 average. That's why the Flying Squirrels star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the Double-A Northeast. Checking out his stats for the season, Bryd has notched 5 wins and 4 losses in 10 starts.
