Red-Hot Filho Scorches Fisher Cats Wednesday, August 11th , 2038 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Rodolfo Filho of the Reading Fightin Phils had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate in his team's 19-3 win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at FirstEnergy Stadium. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 23-year-old left fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Rodolfo Filho singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Markiys Robertson in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a three-run double in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Luis Garza in the 8th. So far this year, Filho is hitting .312 with 26 home runs. |
