Hit Streak Over, Aviators Stop Weber Thursday, August 14th , 2031 Sean Weber's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 20 games today as the San Francisco Giants dropped their contest with the Charlotte Aviators 4-1 at Oracle Park. Weber failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-3. After the game Weber spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. Thus far this year Weber has hit .319 with 13 home runs and 55 RBIs. |
