Gervacio Raps Colorado for 5 Hits Thursday, June 21st , 2035 Rangers first baseman Willie Gervacio had his way with Colorado pitching at Globe Life Field and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Rockies ruined his great day by toppling the Rangers, 8-5. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Colorado credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Gervacio did today," Rockies skipper Alek Rockies said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Willie Gervacio singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
