It's Official: New Owner for Texas Rangers Saturday, November 7th , 2037 The Texas Rangers have been on the market for some time now. A Texas bank has been quietly shopping the team around, seeking the perfect candidate. Recently, they advised owner Ray C. Davis Jr. Jr. that Jon Roche was the most viable suitor and that he would commit to keeping the Rangers in Texas for the foreseeable future. In prepared remarks, Davis Jr. Jr. said: "It's important to me that Texas fans get treated fair and square in the future.
