Rangers Advance to Round 3 Monday, August 31st , 2037 Israel Ordaz wore out opposing pitchers en route to being named Round 2 MVP. The star's Texas (AZL) Rangers defeated the Atlanta (AZL) Braves Red by a series score of 3-1 to advance to the Round 3. Texas (AZL) won the final game by a 3-1 count in front of a raucous crowd at Surprise Stadium. Ordaz hit .571 with a .571 on-base percentage in the series, while also adding 1 home runs, driving in 2 RBI and scoring 3 runs. "Just trying to do my job, that's all there is too it," said Ordaz. The Texas (AZL) Rangers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Oakland (AZL) Athletics Gold - Cleveland (AZL) Indians Red series. Cleveland (AZL) leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
