Fagner Hits 2 home runs in Astros Win
The Houston Astros defeated the Texas Rangers, 9-5. Doing his part was left fielder Pat Fagner, who went 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The Rangers fall to 13-16 and continue to sputter in the early going.

Edwin Saucedo had a big 2-run double for the Astros in the bottom of the third inning. With Houston leading 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 27-year old left-handed pitcher Kurt Carroll and swatted a double to right. It was his 12th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Astros ahead, 6-3.

In postgame comments to the Houston Daily, Saucedo said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
