The Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers left the fans buzzing.

The Texas Rangers used the hitting of shortstop Victor Sierra to subdue the Toronto Blue Jays, 5-3. For the game, Sierra was 3-4 with a home run and a double. Chris Simington picked up his 6th save of the season.

Jimmy Albitz, who finished 3rd in the AL in hits with 187 last year, came through for Texas with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. The left fielder went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 RBI.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Albitz. "You've got to get results."

The loss makes Toronto 13-8.
