Rangers Cut Down Diamondbacks, 6-1
|
A 4-RBI performance from the former first round draft pick Danny Duncan helped the Texas Rangers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 6-1. Texas pitcher Greg Boyle got the win. He's now 2-0. Chris Zurak was tagged with the loss. The Diamondbacks fall to 4-7 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2038 season.
There was more than one reason the Rangers beat the Diamondbacks, but Duncan's big at-bat in the bottom of the first was an important factor. He staked his team to a 1-0 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.
"Winning is always a team effort," Duncan said after the game.
