Cubs Post 5-2 Win Over New York
The Chicago Cubs picked up a win at Citi Field, knocking off the New York Mets, 5-2. Starting pitcher Jim Fontana was a big reason why. Jarod Glass was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 44 of 48 save opportunities. The Cubs bumped their record to 81-81 with this win.

Chicago used the hitting of Ian Garay to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Cubs on top, 4-1. For the game, Garay had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Fontana.
