Getting offensive support from Alex Castrillo, the Minnesota Twins topped the Boston Red Sox, 7-4. Castrillo belted 2 home runs for the Twins. Minnesota improves to 81-72 with the win. They lead their division by 3½ games.

Rick Torrez hit a 2-run home run off Jonathan Loaisiga in the bottom of the second, which put the Twins ahead, 2-1. In addition to the homer, Torrez had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Torrez told the Minnesota Citizen.
