Reds Score 7-4 Win Against San Francisco
|
Cincinnati shortstop MICHAEL Caldera contributed significantly to his team's 7-4 win over the San Francisco Giants. Caldera, who finished 2nd in the AL in stolen bases with 28 in 2030, went 1 for 2 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Reds. The Reds now have a record of 51-99.
With Cincinnati leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Caldera hit a fastball from Danny Bryan for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Reds ahead, 6-2.
"In this profession, you've got to put the good and the bad behind you quickly," San Francisco skipper Giants GM said.
