Nationals Topple Stars with Late Rally

The Washington Nationals topped the Nashville Stars, 3-1, in National League action at Nationals Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Washington pitcher Ricky Castro. Washington reliever Elijah Adewale got the win, raising his record to 5-2. Chris Abbot was tagged with the loss. The Stars, now 66-79, have lost 4 straight.
Making an impact for Washington was third baseman Jeremy Warner. Sandman drilled a double off Bobby Macias in the bottom of the third. For the game, Warner was 2-4 with a double.
