Kendrick Now 12-10 After Beating Stars
|
The Atlanta Braves picked up a win at Truist Park, taking down the Nashville Stars, 5-0. Starting pitcher Kevin Kendrick was a big reason why. The triumph puts Atlanta at 74-71 for the season.
It was an impressive outing from the soft-spoken Kendrick, who tallied 6 strikeouts in 7 innings and allowed only 3 hits. Kendrick, who is tied for 8th in the NL with a 1.16 WHIP, raised his record to 12-10 on the year with 157 strikeouts.
"I went out and just tried to do my job," said Kendrick.
