Kevin Jackson was superb against St. Louis. The right-hander, who is tied for 3rd in the AL with a 3.19 ERA, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Rangers victory. The score was 6-4. The Texas winning streak has reached 3 games.

Danny Duncan hit a 3-run home run off Steve Christopher in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Rangers ahead, 6-4. In addition to the homer, Duncan had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
