The Boston Red Sox rode a solid performance from 30-year-old starting pitcher Ethan Roach to a win, beating the Philadelphia Phillies, 9-0, at Fenway Park. The winning pitcher was Roach, now 7-7. He tossed 5.1 innings of 1-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 6. With the win, the Red Sox sit at 84-56.
