Dodgers Get Past San Francisco for 4-3 Win
|
Los Angeles starter Chris Heine pitched well against the San Francisco Giants at Dodger Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. The win gives Los Angeles a season record of 72-65.
Los Angeles took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Bobby Essick hit a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Dodgers.
In postgame comments to the Los Angeles Gazette, Essick said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
