Astros Suffer One-Run Loss at Texas
|
The Texas Rangers and Houston Astros played an entertaining game for Globe Life Field patrons.
Cylan Henkel was a vital contributor to the 4-3 Texas victory over Houston. The Rangers first baseman was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was Kurt Carroll. He's now 8-10. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits for the Rangers.
Henkel contributed in the bottom of the third. With the bases loaded, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Texas get the win.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Texas manager Texas Rockies Manager. "It's usually not just one thing."
Texas has won 3 straight, while Houston has lost 3 in a row.
