New York Loss Takes Shine Off Reichert Performance
New York catcher Jack Reichert had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 10-8, to Philadelphia at Citi Field. Reichert belted 3 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring three times. New York is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.

Philadelphia used the timely hitting of Jon Watrous to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Phillies on top, 10-8. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We take it day by day here," said Watrous, "and today was a good one for us."
