Minnesota Wins, 8-0, Behind 2 Pacas Home Runs
|
The Minnesota Twins defeated the San Francisco Giants by the score of 8-0, with the biggest share of the credit going to shortstop Jesus Pacas. Pacas belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 5 for the Twins on the day. The Twins, at 40-46, inhabit 4th place in the American League West Division.
With Minnesota leading 3-0 in the bottom of the second, Pacas hit a fastball from Dave Haley for a 3-run home run. It was his 18th home run of the season and put the Twins ahead, 6-0.
"What's not to like about a win?" said Pacas.
