Philadelphia Win to Pull Even With Milwaukee
|
The Philadelphia Phillies topped the Milwaukee Brewers by the score of 6-4 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the Round 3 today. The largest share of the credit belongs to Philadelphia starter David Peterson, who threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball in the win.
Philadelphia used the clutch hitting of Ethan Wilson to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Phillies ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"We lost," Milwaukee manager MKE Manager said later. "We'll deal with it. The series isn't over."
The next game is set to be played for Saturday, October 21st , 2028 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
