New York Takes Division Series
By a score of 3-2, the New York Mets have sealed a victory in the Division Series over the St. Louis Cardinals.

"We knew we would be in for a tough series and that's what we got," said first baseman Kevin Howard of the Mets, who was named the series MVP. "The Cardinals knew how to battle and gave us a good test."

The next test for New York will come in the Championship Series, after winning this series 3-1.

The New York Mets don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Chicago Cubs - Atlanta Braves series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 18th , 2037.
