Minnesota Sweeps into the Championship Series
After their 10-5 win today at Target Field over the Portland Loggers, the Minnesota Twins will advance to the Championship Series. Minnesota won the series by a 3-0 margin.

Leading the way for the Twins was first baseman Alex Castrillo, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP.

"I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus."

The Minnesota Twins don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Baltimore Orioles - Boston Red Sox series. Boston leads the series 2 games to 0. The Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 19th , 2036.
