St. Louis Over Chicago in 15-0 Romp
|
The St. Louis Cardinals did not need a superhuman effort from starter Robby Rosado, not with their offense scoring runs at will. They got one, regardless, as the right-hander shut out the Chicago Cubs in the 15-0 Cardinals win. Rosado threw 9.0 innings of shutout ball as St. Louis took a 2-0 lead in the best-of-5 series.
Rosado gave St. Louis a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 9 innings.
"When Robby is on, he can really move the ball around," said St. Louis manager Shawn Sturgess.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
